In this module, we share the basics of academic bullying: what it is, the five basic categories of bullying behavior, and how it affects targets of bullying. We also differentiate bullying from behaviors that, though they may be unpleasant, do not constitute bullying.
Why is bullying such a pervasive problem in academia? In this module, several scholars share their thoughts on how universities create or allow the conditions in which bullying can occur.
